About the artist
Patrick Cariou started his career as a fashion photographer in Paris. In the early 1980’s he joined a Parisian studio, Pin’up Studio, and contributed to various magazines such as Marie Claire, GQ, and Elle. In the early 1990’s Cariou moved to New York refining his work and methodology, focused on rare subjects at the edge.
